Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents are Russian and Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as a Russian mom. A choreographed performance at age 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer and snow maiden. After completing the high school level in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB studio but the moved on to study improvisation at the Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. She was born to an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. At the age of 13, her parents divorced and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. Television actress most famous for her portrayal of former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans.
